Six busy moms took time from their schedules last week to gather in Virginia Beach, Va for a day of strategy and support. They traveled from near (Richmond) and far (Minnesota) for the sole purpose of connecting with one another and helping each other grow in business.
We brainstormed, laughed, cried, prayed, strategized and soaked up the sun. We got clarity. We made decisions. We set goals. But mostly, we enjoyed the fellowship that comes from spending time with a small group of like-minded women. THIS is exactly why I created the International Christian Mompreneur Network five years ago! THIS is what I was missing. THIS is what I was craving. And I know it’s something many of us need.
So I just want to say thanks to the moms who participated in the mastermind session: Stephanie Danner, Kelly Garrett, Betsy Lavin, Maggie Kerrigan and Susie Fife. And I want to encourage the many mom business owners and ministry leaders who take the time to make these connections in their own little circles. I know you’re busy – we’re all ridiculously over scheduled. But as we learned in our day of masterminding, the experience of getting together IN REAL LIFE is invaluable!
